Brothers Joe and Dave Borzynski were raised on a 40-acre dairy farm in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. In 1964, while in high school, the brothers tried their luck at cabbage farming with their dad’s tractor, a few acres of rented land, and some friends to pack vegetables. They sold their cabbage out of the back of a pick-up truck at the Milwaukee farmer’s market. After high-school, Dave graduated from college with history degree. Dave taught history at the college level for a few years, but he felt called back to farming.

Our committed and knowledgeable staff continues to guarantee our place as an industry leader.

The brothers’ continued passion for farming drives the business forward. Not surprisingly, Joe and Dave passed their love of farming to their children. Today, Borzynski’s is a family business with Dave’s and Joe’s children actively involved with day-to-day farming operations.

Borzynski’s is a year round supplier of high quality fresh produce. Large retailers are consistent customers due to Borzynski's consistent and reliable supply of produce. Borzynski’s farms are located in areas of the United States with different growing seasons. The one thing ties all of the farms together is the Borzynski’s drive for wholesome, quality produce. In all, Borzynski’s offers vegetables produced over 6,000 acres year-round.

Borzynski Farms complies with The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), but most importantly, Borzynski’s is dedicated to continuously improving its food safety management systems to ensure safe food delivery to consumers.

When it comes to food safety, Borzynski’s upholds the highest standards of quality assurance. Borzynski’s undergoes a third party certification process on its packinghouse, ranch and harvest crew with a Primus Labs audit.

The Borzynski family remains committed to producing consistently high-quality, delicious and diverse food.

The Primus Labs audits certify that Borzynski’s growing operations have met or exceeded the target standards for regulatory requirements. Further, it certifies that we maintain Good Agricultural Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices. Borzynski’s products have complete traceability from the farm to store.
