We are looking for an organized and hard working Quality Assurance Manager to join our team! 

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager works to develop and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and programs that meet and exceed industry and governmental requirements and customer expectations. This role supervises a team of QA employees focused on regulatory compliance, customer support, sanitation, and document control. The position requires strong leadership and supervisory skills including the ability to effectively train, coach, and mentor a team as well as strong aptitude for QA evidenced in successful management of quality assurance functions in a food production/manufacturing environment. 

Position Reports to: 
Director of Operations
Requirements: 
  • Bachelors of Science in food science preferred or BS in Sciences, required.
  • Minimum 5 years QA experience. Experience should include successful creation and implementation of standard operating procedures tied to quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and sanitation in a food production/manufacturing environment.
  • Industry knowledge of HACCP, USDA, FDA, GMP, GFSI, FSMA, and federal, state and local regulations.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Food safety and food labeling compliance expertise.
  • Advanced skill in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including technical writing.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and team leadership.
  • High level of attention to detail and follow through.
